Changes
Changes to Departure dates are treated as cancellations and new bookings by the tour operators, and may incur cancellation penalties. Changes to names can be arranged free of charge except for any included flights which will incur cancellation penalties depending on the airline.
Cancellations
The client has the right to cancel his/her booking at any time. All cancellation requests must be in writing by post or email and go into effect on the morning of the next working day after it reaches our office. Cancellation and refund penalties increase as the departure date approaches. Cancellation fees will be charged according to the following schedule.
Days to Departure Cancellation Refund
45+ days prior to departure 90% of total monies paid
44–22 days prior to departure 75% of total monies paid
21–8 days prior to departure 50% of total monies paid
7–1 days prior to departure No refund
Day of departure/No show No refund
Roadrunner Travel will also deduct from the total monies refunded any transaction fees charged by the bank to return credit to an account. Cancellation fees may also apply to any additional services, including accommodations, airfares or airport taxes and optional excursions (extended stays), reserved prior to, during and after the tour.
Absenteeism
No refunds will be made for absences from a tour. Including but not limited to if a passenger fails to join a tour, joins it after its departure, leaves it prior to its completion or misses meals or sightseeing.
Illness
If a passenger must withdrawal from a tour after commencement for reasons of illness, a medical certificate must be obtained to support any insurance claim.
Air-Inclusive Packages
These packages use non-refundable airfares. If flight changes are requested, or if flights are cancelled after tickets are issued, change fees and/or airline penalties will be applicable.
Insurance
We strongly recommend that passengers secure appropriate cancellation/trip insurance. RoadRunner Travel can not guarantee reimbursement of funds under any insurance claim.
Group Bookings
Deposit, payment and cancellation terms may differ for group bookings. Please contact us directly for more details.
Cancellation by us
When a tour is cancelled by us, the client may choose between a full refund of all monies paid or any alternative tour or departure date offered subject to availability. The company will not be liable however for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable connecting flights etc. If the alternative tour chosen by the client is of a lower value than that originally booked then the client is entitled to a refund of the price difference. If the alternative tour chosen by the client is of higher price than that originally chosen then the client must pay the difference.
